- Anyone who stayed in a "MANDATORY" evacuation area needs to be charged for any rescue services they may need. It is time for people to stop being so arrogant and putting the lives of rescue workers in danger because of their stupidity.

- Jim - I do agree with you in theory. (Minus the let them drown part;). I am getting so disgusted with watching and reading time after time about people would are in MANDATORY evacuation areas and decide to stay.

I really must agree with your statement and go a bit further......anyone who refuses to follow a Mandatory evacuation order should be arrested and placed in custody for failure to follow a direct order from the states law enforcement officers of which the Governor is always the chief. It should remain permanently on their records as a felony offense. Once they find that their choice of work will be limited, their housing if they rent will also be limited there will be fewer in the future to disobey the mandatory evauations.
